Hysterosalpingogram View 1
Radiograph of a hysterosalpingogram revealing a uterine cavity that contains multiple rounded (or cylindrical) filling defects that are predominantly located along the lateral sidewalls of the cavity and extend from the fundus all the way down to the lower uterine segment. Both fallopian tubes are patent with free spill. These defects may represent either multiple submucosal myomas or endometrial polyps. In this case the defects in the cavity were removed (surgically) and were found to be endometrial polyps.
